PermeH2O is at the forefront of measuring water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) on a wide range of materials, including mono- and multilayer plastic films, metallized films with special surface coatings, laminates, and co-extrusions. These materials are extensively used in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and electronics industries. The dynamic-differential measurement technique employed by PermeH2O allows for the discrimination of lateral losses due to potential surface imperfections of the sample, a capability not achievable with other analysis techniques. The advanced PermeH2O ExtraSolution® software empowers operators with autonomy after minimal training. Key parameters such as temperature, relative humidity, and sample conditioning times are pre-set upon software initiation, minimizing human intervention and ensuring result accuracy. Throughout the measurement process, the software maintains constant monitoring and precise recording of conditions, presenting data both textually and graphically over time. Measurement conditions are saved in PDF and text formats for maximum compatibility with other systems. Electronic control of gas flows renders PermeH2O insensitive to line pressure variations and ambient conditions. The single-point cell sealing system eliminates the need for sample cutting, streamlining measurement procedures and ensuring reliable, reproducible results.
