The “stickpack” is an amazing packaging format originally designed to easily pour products into bottles of water. It has since evolved and represents a unique opportunity for any company to combine technology and modern, smart design with environmental respect.
The stickpack has many benefits; it is an extremely versatile concept, with formats from 14 mm in length to as long as 300mm and can increase the product shelf life both at the point of sale and at home.
Also in comparison to a 4 side seals single dose sachet, stickpacks, have significant benefits for the manufacturer as up to 40% less film can be used to package the same amount of product which, in turn can lead to, smaller boxes, lighter packages, reduced packing transport expenses, and carbon footprint.
Intamac have designed stickpacks to package many different products including powders, granules, liquids and pastry products. The easy opening and ergonomic handling features mean stickpacks are perfect for delivering pharmaceuticals when an exact doses are required,
Along with product evaluations, Intamac carry out indepth analysis of customer’s requirements and expectations, to propose optimised production solutions, producing systems from the simplest up to the most sophisticated configurations for site specific requirements.
