How fast does the Sitma 740-LTR run?
Up to 25 bundles per minute, with side sealing for bundles up to 150 mm high. Taller bundles are sleeve-wrapped on the same machine instead of being fully enclosed.
When does sleeve wrapping make sense over full bundle shrink wrapping?
Sleeve wrapping leaves the bundle ends open, which suits taller bundles that the side sealer cannot fully enclose, heavier loads, and products that benefit from ventilation through the pack. The 740-LTR handles both fully enclosed and sleeve-wrapped formats without changing equipment.
Can the 740-LTR handle bundles of different heights on the same run?
Yes. An integrated photo-electric detection system identifies bundle height variations automatically and adjusts the side sealers accordingly, so mixed-height bundles can be wrapped on the same run without manual intervention.
