Engelmann & Buckham are pleased to announce a new co-operation with the major Chinese supllier of laboratory test equipment, Labthink Instruments Co. Ltd.   A full range of materials testing equipment is available, particularly related to the testing of plastic films, barrier materials, and a wide range of other finished products.

Foremost in Labthink's range are permeability testers for the determination of oxygen and water vapour transmission rates as widely required in many packaging industries. 

March 12th 2010 - Paker for Carton wrapping solutions

Paker create the perfect pack for bottles, cans, trays, cups, pots, jars, cosmetics and pharmaceutical products or any other product that needs carton wrapping.  The carton can be open or closed on 3, 4 or 6 sides with up to three layers and two lanes of product.  Cartons are sealed using hot melt gluing and machine speeds range from 20 to 450 packs per minute.

The easy to use Paker machinery benefits from automatic change-over for configuration and format and has a high capacity magazine which is accessible from the floor.  The machine is constructed in easy to clean stainless steel with gull-wing doors in either polycarbonate or glass to enable easy access for maintenance and cleaning.  Servo drives are separate from product areas.
